Meet Rachel Green
A Legal Practice Built Around People
Becoming a Notary Public gave Rachel the opportunity to build the kind of legal practice she believes people should be able to rely on: professional and thorough, but also welcoming, understandable and accessible.
Her approach starts with a simple idea. People should be treated with dignity and respect, whether they are completing a straightforward document or making a decision that could affect their family, property or business for years to come.
That means explaining unfamiliar legal language, taking questions seriously and making sure clients understand the decisions and documents in front of them. It also means recognizing that no two people arrive at the office with exactly the same circumstances, priorities or concerns.
Golden Rivers may be a new practice, but Rachel is not new to legal work. Her previous career has given her more than a decade of experience with the kinds of legal matters she now helps clients navigate as a Notary Public.

Rachel and her family chose Quesnel because they wanted more than somewhere to live and work. They wanted to put down roots, become part of a community and build something with a lasting connection to the place they call home.

More Than a Decade in the Legal Field
Experience That Comes With Her to the Notary's Office
Before becoming a Notary Public, Rachel spent more than a decade working in the legal field across family law, real estate, personal planning, business and corporate matters.
During the first several years of her career, Rachel’s primary focus was family law, alongside committeeship applications, real estate matters and personal planning for family clients. This gave her extensive experience working with court orders, separation agreements, cohabitation agreements and prenuptial agreements, as well as affidavits and statutory declarations. It also gave her a strong understanding of how family matters can intersect with property ownership, financial decisions and personal planning.
Over the following six years, Rachel’s work became primarily focused on real estate and business transactions. Her experience expanded to include residential and commercial real estate, business acquisitions and sales, real estate development, corporate transactions, private lending and more complex property matters involving multiple parties and stakeholders. She continued to work with family law matters as needed, particularly where separation agreements, court orders and other family matters affected real estate transactions.
Her experience also includes manufactured homes, bare land, leases, easements, covenants, subdivisions, non-resident owners, fractional interests, foreclosures and transactions involving buyers, sellers, borrowers, lenders, corporations and other stakeholders. That breadth of experience has given Rachel a practical understanding of how to coordinate the different legal, financial and administrative pieces required to bring both straightforward and complicated matters through to completion.
The committeeship applications that Rachel worked on involved people who had lost the ability to manage their own person, their financial affairs, or both, without adequate planning documents in place. Seeing the impact those situations could have on individuals and families continues to inform her approach to personal planning today.
Across all of these areas, the same responsibility applies: people are placing trust in the professional handling matters that can have a lasting impact on their lives. Rachel approaches that responsibility with integrity, diligence and respect for the people behind the documents.

Combined with her previous legal experience and background in governance and board-level service, Rachel brings a strong foundation in accountability, ethical decision-making and responsibility to the public to her work at Golden Rivers Notary.
